McLouth is not superior athletically. He has been terrible in CF since the Braves acquired him, defensively. Heyward’s problem has been injuries. Plain and simple. I still don’t feel like he is completely right. I think it is no accident that as soon as Chipper Jones “called” him out, he comes back to the Braves and plays. He hasn’t said if he is still hurting, but he still hasn’t gotten comfortable.

I disagree about Heyward. I think he will come around. I am not opposed to adding another outfielder, but McLouth and/or Schafer should be the ones on the outside looking in.
